Febrero 28, 2006: Public Citizen Hace una Petición a la FDA para Prohibir los Productos Darvon

Public Citizen la cual es una organización nacional sin fines de lucro en pro del consumidor, pidió a la Administración de Alimentos y Medicamentos de los Estados Unidos que empiece a retirar los productos Darvon o Darvocet del mercado de inmediato. Public Citizen afirma que el medicamento estuvo vinculado con más de 2000 muertes accidentales, es adictiva físicamente, y no es efectiva en comparación a alternativas más seguras.
